Hello, I'm Irene. I study political and social issues of the Middle East and Türkiye. Currently that takes the form of postgraduate studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. My current projects are detailed here. In my free time I ride bikes, travel, and spend time outdoors with my partner and our dogs.
